Hunan Ever-shine Membrane Technology Co. Ltd is a Sino-Dutch joint venture company, formerly named Hunan Evershine Environmental Protection Industry Co. Ltd, founded by Dutch Chinese Mr. & Mrs. Liu Meirong in 1998. The company occupies the Evershine Industry Park in Zhaoshan Economic Development Zone of Xiangtan, in the central area of Changzhutan Reform Pilot Area for National Environment-friendly and Resource-saving Society.

The inorganic membrane filtration technology for treatment of oily wastewater of the company has been confirmed and recommended as one of the state’s key practical technology for environmental protection for national-wide promotion by The State Administration of Environmental Protection of China. As a representative of the provincial environmental industry the company has been appointed to participate in the governmental major scientific and technical research scheme on energy-saving and emission-reduction, in focus of high COD degradation of paper effluent, and key technology research and demonstration for fine treatment of chemical wastewater.

The on line backpulsing technology for membrane filtration innovated by the company has been approved registration for national patent (reg.No. ZL 02 2 24060.8 ).
